Helping your child develop a heart for Jesus

At Hillcrest Baptist Church, we believe children are not just the future of the church—they are a vital part of it right now. That’s why we are passionate about creating a safe, welcoming, and Christ centered environment where kids can learn about God, build friendships, and grow in their faith.


At Hillcrest Kids, the Bible comes alive through engaging lessons, music, games, crafts, and age-appropriate activities designed specifically for each stage of childhood. Our goal is simple: to help children find and follow Jesus while building a strong biblical foundation for life.


From the moment your family arrives, our caring and trusted volunteers work hard to help every child feel welcomed, loved, and secure. We want church to become one of the highlights of your child’s week—a place where they are encouraged, valued, and consistently pointed to Jesus.


Nursery (Newborn–3 Years)

Our nursery provides a clean, safe, and nurturing environment where little ones are lovingly cared for by trusted volunteers during every service. We understand that leaving your child somewhere new can feel overwhelming, especially for first-time parents, which is why we work hard to create a welcoming and secure experience for both you and your child.


With age-appropriate toys, engaging activities, and caring volunteers, our goal is to help children feel comfortable, happy, and cared for while parents enjoy the worship service with peace of mind.


K4–5th Grade

During our 10:30 AM Sunday service, children participate in their own dedicated Hillcrest Kids experience designed specifically for their age group. Each week includes Bible teaching, music, activities, games, and interactive lessons that help kids understand God’s Word in a clear and engaging way.


Over the course of a three-year cycle, our children walk through the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Our desire is not only for kids to learn the great stories and truths of Scripture, but also to begin understanding how the entire Bible points to God’s plan of redemption through Jesus Christ.
